2016 has arrived and with it, typically comes the ushering in of new goals, resolutions, and projects.  I’m all for goal setting and finding new opportunities in one’s life to devote your time and effort in.

Hopefully if you’re one of the many who have been pondering what your chief priorities of 2016 may be, somewhere health has found it’s way into the mix of your priorities.  Health truly is one of your ‘true wealths’, and research shows that in order for us to truly achieve our life’s higher purposes and dreams, we must first possess health.

So often, we are pressured by societal expectations, misguided friends or family, our own delusions and more to short change our health.  Whether this is related to our diet, getting enough sleep, getting regular activity and exercise, or even surrounding ourselves with encouraging, supportive people, there are SO MANY ways that our mental, emotional, and spiritual health can ‘take a hit’.

The more you can find ‘automatic’ ways to ensure you are routinely contributing to the furthering of your own health and wellness, typically the better.  For instance, simple tricks and tips I often share with clients include cooking on the weekend to ensure you have healthy food to choose from during the week when you’re busy working or exercising first thing in the morning or over your lunch hour to ensure that nothing else interrupts this very important commitment to yourself.

By surrounding yourself with other health-minded family, friends and even professional colleagues when possible, the more positive reinforcement you will get to continue to keep up your good habits and positive energy you’ll continue to gain.  Very often I’ve seen such situations have beneficial ‘synergistic effects’ in people’s personal lives and I’ve found this to also be true in the professional world, by helping to connect you to other individuals and companies that are on a similar wavelength.

In 2016, many exciting things are happening at Visionary Health, including the publishing of several new books on aging and ketogenic eating for curing/treating disease, a number of new exciting business partnerships launching domestically and internationally, as well as more TV appearances on nationally recognized shows.  We look forward to continue to supporting your health needs and goals and encourage you to make 2016 your healthiest year yet!
